Our First Sale!

posted in: Wing Bass News 4

We’d have never guessed that the first Wing Bass sale would come across the globe, but it did… all the way from Japan! Our first customer ordered a 5-string Wing with Black Limba top, Rosewood fretless fingerboard, strung E-C. A nice way to break the ice!

Congratulations! When I first saw your Basses I didn’t know what to think. After some research and thinking about how convenient and logistical this would be I’m kind of infatuated. In my honest opinion the perfect touring Bass Guitar. I look forward to eventually hearing how they scream, and the overall feel (not having the the lower Octave). As soon as I get the chance I will give one a try. If it can mate with my Hartke LH1000 I’ll be taking it on the road, giving you guys the best plugs I can anytime somebody asks about it (and seriously who wouldn’t, It’s like the “Sub-Machine Gun Bass”)

Thanks Terry! The Wing Bass, although first and foremost a practice/travel instrument, does sound great on it’s own. However, running it through an octave-down, such as the Micro POG, provides some satisfactory results. Regards.

I’m the guy in Japan that was fortunate enough to be Wing Bass’ first customer! I’m really looking forward to getting the bass, and I’ll definitely post sound/video clips once it arrives!
