The Wing Bass NT is a natural evolution of our Wing Bass classic. The 18″ scale neck-through design provides a more traditional feel and will provide players with same portability as our Classic model. The neck is stiffened with graphite rods negating the need for a truss rod. The Wing Bass NT uses standard strings and gauges and standard string spacing so your technique building exercises can be retained when you return to your main bass.

The Wing Bass Classic is the one that started it all. Born from an idea that you don’t really require the first 11 frets of a bass in order to practice or play when you travel. The only differences between this instrument and a full sized bass are the tuning (the Wing is tuned one octave higher – the equivalent of playing the twelfth fret and above), and portability. The Wing Bass uses standard strings and gauges and standard string spacing so your technique building exercises can be retained when you return to your main bass.
It’s extremely light and portable so whether your just hanging around the house, traveling on business, camping, whatever, you can always have an instrument to keep your chops up with.

The Wing Bass 30 was our first instrument naturally tuned to Low-E. It has a neck-through design, is light and very playable. Two Bartolini pickups provide a wide range of tones, from a fat P-tone, to really nice slap tone and a very burpy Jazz. The 30″ scale provides a bass that’s easier to play than a full scale instrument. It too is very portable, being able to be carried in a guitar case with room to spare. The Wing Guitar NT, introduced at Summer NAMM 2016, implements the original Wing Bass concept. The Wing Guitar is your full-sized guitar, starting at the 5th fret. Entirely versatile with tunings, you can use tenor tuning (A-A), get back to standard tuning (E-E) by shifting the strings over one position and use a thicker E-string.
The Wing Guitar is compact enough to fit in most 21″ carry-ons or just use the custom gig bag that’s included. It’s also extremely light and portable so whether your just hanging around the house, traveling on business, camping, whatever, you can always have an instrument to keep your chops up with.
